Fields of application
The movement of the harbor cranes on rails is limited by lever limit switches from DUK.
The up and down movement of the crane hook on the rope is limited by a gear limit switch. This ensures that the goods on the hook do not hit the ground or the arm of the crane.
Gates that maintain the water level in basins independent of the tidal range can also be opened and closed safely and without accidents thanks to the gear limit switch.
