Switchgear for monitoring lock gates, ship lifts, bascule and lift bridges.

SAFETY FOR HUMANS AND MACHINES SINCE 1925

Fields of application

To prevent sluice gates from opening too wide or colliding with each other when closing, gear limit switches switch off the motor for movement after the preset travel.

To ensure that the trough does not sink or rise too far in ship lifts that transport boats in the water, gear limit switches switch off the movement after the preset distance traveled.

When used in bascule and lift bridges, geared limit switches limit the maximum opening and prevent the moving bridge section from hitting the water unbraked during lowering.
